Back in 2019 thanks to popular demand. This year’s career development breakfast workshop is open to all early-mid career researchers. The format for this year is Q&A with the topic “Managing the transition from post-doc to independent lab head”. A panel of experts will take your questions and offer their advice on how to manage the most important stage of your career and be successful. Moderated by Professor Heidi Drummer, Burnet Institute, you can presubmit your questions or ask them on the day. Topics to be covered include managing career breaks; people, project and budget management; committees-how much time should I spend on these and which ones help me?; publication output; maintaining grant success; students-how many, from where and who? We look forward to you joining us for this lively discussion. Places are strictly limited so register early.
