All registrations include attendance to all sessions from 6 – 9 December 2021. Registrations also include daily lunch and refreshment breaks, Poster Session refreshments and a delegate ticket to the Welcome Mixer.
Please note: the AVS11 Dinner ticket is not included in any of the registration types and can be purchased during this registration process.
Early Bird Registrations must be paid in full no later than two weeks after the conclusion of the offer period. If payment is not received by this time, the registration fee will be charged at the standard rate.
Acknowledgement of registration
Upon receipt of your completed registration form, we will acknowledge via email with confirmation of your requirements. An electronic tax invoice will also be issued. All updates regarding the Meeting will be posted to the Meeting website.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
Cancellations must be received in writing – mail or email – to Leishman Associates. Cancellations will not be deemed to be received until you have written confirmation from Leishman Associates. If you have not received acknowledgement within two business days, please contact Leishman Associates on (03) 6234 7844.
Should it be necessary to cancel your registration due to Government imposed travel restrictions, we will refund your registration fee less a 25% administration fee. Evidence may be requested, and each situation will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Refunds for any other reason will adhere to the following cancellation terms:
- Cancellations on and before 90 days prior to the event will incur a 25% cancellation fee.
- Cancellations on or before 60 days prior to the event will incur a 50% cancellation fee.
- Cancellations on or after 30 days prior to the event will receive no refund.
Event Cancellation or Postponement
The members of the Committee and Leishman Associates do not accept any liability for losses incurred in the event being cancelled or postponed due to unforeseen circumstances or any other event that renders performance of the event inadvisable, illegal, impracticable, or impossible.
An unforeseen event shall include but shall not be limited to: an Act of God; infectious disease outbreak, industrial disruptions, service provider failures, governmental restrictions and/or regulations; war or apparent act of war; terrorism or apparent act of terrorism; disaster; civil disorder, disturbance, and/or riots; curtailment, suspension, and/or restriction on transportation; or any other emergency.
Registration fees do not include insurance of any kind. It is recommended that participants take out their own general travel insurance. It is suggested that the insurance policy should also cover loss of fees/deposit, airfares, accommodation charges, medical expenses, loss or damage to personal property and repatriation expenses. The insurance should cover loss arising from the cancellation of the meeting by the organisers or a person’s inability to attend due to any reason whatsoever. No responsibility is taken by the meeting managers for any person not holding insurance.
